Money is too important to be casual about it.
Find advisors
who are passionate about financial solutions.
Ask about credentials and
track records.
Experience means a lot.

Steve Fischer
I grew up in Mankato, the son of a
former teacher and a salesman. Early
in high school I did a report on 3M, then called Minnesota Mining and
Manufacturing. I went all out on that report, buying plastic sheet covers
and everything. It ignited my passion for investing.
I can't quite remember how I did it, but I
opened a brokerage account at Merrill Lynch through the mail. I used
to send the broker letters and money, requesting additional shares
of 3M or other stocks. We never met so they never knew I was just a
kid.
Investing has always been a passion for me. I often work with clients
who are afraid to figure out their investment strategy or think it is
too complicated. I enjoy taking the time to help them understand the
financial world. Investing in people is the best investment of all.
By the way, I still have the report on 3M.
